Tiwa is a Sustainability / ESG expert with over thirteen (13) years' experience in sustainability risk management, project management, and capacity building; consulting for the World Bank, IFC, AfDB, BII, and other DFIs. Dr. Tiwa has consulted for more than 150 companies and about twenty (20) national and subnationals across West Africa. He has developed over 100 ESG/sustainability-related reports, such as due diligence reports, risk management reports, and impact reports, among others, in line with reporting standards (GRI, IFRS, CDP), best practices, regulatory standards, and sustainability principles (PRI, UNGC). Dr. Tiwa has a Ph.D. in Botany (Environmental Sustainability) and an Executive MBA. He is an ISO 14001 Certified Lead Auditor & Trainer, ISO 37301 Certified Lead Implementer & Trainer, and ISO 21502 Lead Project Manager. In the sustainable finance space, Dr. Tiwa has supported companies in raising over N270 billion in debt and equity financing for sustainability-related projects.
