Nnenna Duru is a seasoned professional with years of experience in the banking sector and FMCG. She
currently leads the Public Affairs, Sustainability & Responsibility, and Communications department at
Pernod Ricard Nigeria. Nnenna is passionate about driving strategic initiatives that promote environmental
stewardship, sustainability, and impact. She has delivered some of the following sustainability projects:
• Championing the "Drink More Water" campaign to discourage binge drinking.
• Partnering with FRSC and other Government Agencies on the "Don't Drink and Drive" Safe Roads
campaign.
• Collaborating with the Nigerian Conservation Foundation on a tree-planting initiative, resulting in over
6,000 trees planted across Nigeria.
• Supporting World Clean Up Day in collaboration with Let’s Do It Nigeria to encourage collective action
to tackle the growing problem of waste and pollution.
• Launching the "Bar World of Tomorrow" project in Nigeria, training over 300 sustainable bartenders.
She holds first degree in Agriculture from the University of Port Harcourt, a Master’s degree in View in
Environmental Toxicology & Pollution Management from the University of Lagos and is a certified
Professional in Human Resources - International (PHRi). She has demonstrated a commitment to
excellence in leadership and management and was awarded as one of the most Outstanding employees at
Pernod Ricard in 2023/2024.
